2024 Scholarship

Mission Statement

As a woman-owned company, Playfish Media strives to uplift lesser-heard voices in media production. In an effort to create a more inclusive environment, we offer annual scholarships to students enrolled in media-centered programs. Our scholarship is dedicated to advancing students from traditionally underrepresented groups, including women, people of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, and others in need of financial assistance to achieve their career goals. 

Eligibility

The applicant must be a full-time student attending an accredited university, community college, or high school student planning to attend university in the United States or Canada for the 2024-2025 school year. Applicants must be pursuing (or plan to pursue) an undergraduate, graduate degree, or certificate program in a video production-related field. Proof of enrollment must also be provided.

We will accept any of the following as digital copies:

  • An unofficial transcript
  • Letter from Admissions confirming deposit on school letterhead
  • Official enrollment verification form
  • Acceptance letter on school letterhead

Scholarship details:

Value: $1,500

Deadline: Monday, August 5th, 2024 by 10pm PST

Award Announcement date: Monday, August 19th, 2024
